We are thrilled to announce the completion of all facilities at the Paro Zeus Nakulu Dog Shelter. The shelter now provides a safe haven for 332 dogs.
Meanwhile, the Thimphu Zeus Nakulu Dog Shelter continues to thrive, currently housing 455 dogs. We regularly welcome additional dogs as needed, reflecting our ongoing commitment to providing care and support for stray and abandoned animals.
With Zeus Nakulu Dog Shelter proudly operating two shelters in two different districts, it is one of the largest and most recognized dog shelters in Bhutan.
As the only shelter in Bhutan operating around the clock, we have equipped our facilities with state-of-the-art features, including bathing and grooming services as well as advanced medical and life-saving equipment. These resources ensure our furry residents receive the best possible care.

Our facilities are staffed by a dedicated team of 19 professionals, including rescue workers, field staff, and office administrators, working tirelessly to provide 24/7 care.
While visiting Bhutan and we found a dog that was in very bad shape. We contacted Zeus Nakulu dog shelter and within a day she was safe, getting the treatment and care that she needed. The team is amazing and are dedicating their life to help the dogs in Bhutan.
